Yuawa Iguo, first demo (recorded July 30th, 2025)

when i first released Yuawa Iguo on bandcamp, i mentioned that i would in the future show you guys the first demo of the song. i just now thought of doing that as i am working on Yuawa ii, for the anniversary of Yuawa Iguo. a part two to the song. i am sampling the original song in this one and thus as i was relistening to it i remembered what i said previously about the demo.

the song started out as a little ambient piece. only later did i decide to add the noise and drums. “Noise Rock” was the phrase, not genre, that i kept in my mind as i made the song. i say that, because, as you could probably tell, it is not literally a noise rock song. i deliberately took the name very literally, “Noise” + “Rock.” usually taking inspiration from a genre means taking inspiration from the sound of albums in that genre. fundamentally, i chose to, quite simply, make the song drums over a noise wall. that’s it.
